The company was founded in 1993 in the course of a management buyout following the bankruptcy of its predecessor company and enjoys a remarkable success story since its foundation. Starting with 29 employees, the founders were able to sustainably grow the company over the past 26 years, to today 347 employees achieving sales of c. 49m€ in 2018. The product portfolio of SLF comprises spindle and ball bearing units in the diameter size range of 40mm to 1600mm with a clear focus on high-end specifications for demanding applications. Based on its reputation for high-quality products and customer orientation, SLF embraces multiple opportunities for further organic growth in the future.
